History buffs: the audio narrative is slightly skewed, so don't go ape. In fact these are the old barracks of the British Fort at Crown Point, NOT Fort St. Frederic. St Frederic is nearby. It was built in the 1830s by the French, and they held it for about 20 years before the Brits scared them away, and the structures were demolished. The British Fort, seen in this video, was constructed staring in 1759, and was finally destroyed by fire and powder magazine explosions in 1773. These are the officers and soldiers barracks.
